La serie I Love ZYX Italo Disco Collection es una colección de compilaciones de CDs / 3-CD sets publicados por ZYX Music, una discográfica alemana con una larga tradición en música electrónica, disco y especialmente italo disco.
👉 Cada volumen reúne una selección de canciones del género Italo disco, Euro disco, synthpop y estilos afines, muchas veces incluyendo versiones extendidas, remixes o temas poco comunes de artistas clásicos de los años 80 y principios de los 90, así como rarezas del catálogo de ZYX.
Vol. 1 a Vol. 3 – Introducción a la serie con mezclas de éxitos clásicos de los 80: Cyber People, Ken Laszlo, Brian Ice, Hypnosis y otros, en versiones extendidas y DJ versions típicas del italo disco tradicional.
Vol. 4 a Vol. 6 – Continuación con clásicos más populares y temas instrumentales con sintetizadores brillantes, orientados a fans de la escena dance de finales de los 80.
Vol. 7 a Vol. 10 – Consolidación de la fórmula: combinaciones de ritmos dance con voces pop electrónicas, perfectas para aficionados del estilo nostálgico.
Vol. 11 a Vol. 15 – Incluyen aún más temas icónicos y versiones 12″ o extendidas, destacando la producción de varios artistas conocidos y difíciles de encontrar fuera de esta serie.
Vol. 16 a Vol. 20 – Se aprecia un aumento de material menos conocido pero representativo de la escena underground del italo disco, mostrando la versatilidad del género.
Vol. 21 a Vol. 25 – Compilaciones con un balance entre temas populares y tracks curiosos, mezclando voces femeninas y masculinas, tempos rápidos y medios, con más variedad sonora.
Vol. 26 a Vol. 29 – Discos con una mezcla aún más amplia de estilos dentro del italo disco, desde hi-N-RG hasta synth pop y space disco, con temas tanto de conocidos como de artistas más «de culto».
Vol. 30 – Representa un punto alto en la serie: un triple CD con más de 30 tracks que abarca lo mejor del género electro-disco y sintetizadores con melodías nostálgicas y ritmos bailables.
